MISSED IT!
The only photo I took today, and I missed it! Buttercup sneaked into the cat tree and was sleeping by Marisol. By the time I got the camera, Marisol became aware the kitten was there and was leaving! Oh well, I hope I get it the next time - gotta start carrying the camera with me!!MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-59306954843441614582013-01-12T20:55:00.000-06:002013-01-13T20:56:08.565-06:00
GIRLS NITE OUT!
It was Girl Scout Night at the Admirals Hockey Game. Eva wanted to take Ella, so we had a Girls Nite Out while the boys stayed home and watch the Packers (lose) in the Play-Offs. This picture was taken with my new Kindle. Not a bad picture, as long as it stays small! It was Ella's first Hockey Game and first time at the Bradly Center. She was so cute and I really enjoyed myselfMamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-10812777485245275122013-01-11T23:30:00.000-06:002013-01-12T00:27:42.450-06:00
Joie de Viver
So my schedule was thrown off with Christmas Break and it was time to get it together! And on Fridays it means that I strip all the beds, put new sheets on, and wash the old ones. ummm, the only problem was I had no sheets left! So today I was washing 2 sets of sheets, pillow cases, mattress covers, and rubber sheeting times 4 (I still had sheets for our bed, whew!)!! And even MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-85794220415190665342013-01-11T00:00:00.000-06:002013-01-11T00:00:16.610-06:00
LOVE
I couldn't decide which picture to use today as I took a couple and they all seemed post worthy. But I decided on this one because it spoke to me of Love. As soon as Eva got home from school, she picked up Buttercup and kissed her and hugged her and told her how much she missed her. Buttercup responded by putting a paw to her face, as in, "Talk to the paw, I'm busy." And that was itMamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-66102755864748048412013-01-09T23:36:00.000-06:002013-01-09T23:36:31.944-06:00
BEST FRIENDS
Eddie has been begging for a dog, I think ever since he took a breath! And I ask him why he wants a dog and he says,
They're cute
They do stuff with you
They stay by you
They keep you company
They are your Best Friend
So here is Sophie, on the top bunk with MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-60982210995753905242013-01-08T23:41:00.000-06:002013-01-08T23:41:06.774-06:00
HELPING
Or so Marisol says! Yup, putting the last of the Christmas ornaments away and Marisol just couldn't wait to get in the box!MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-1237852106125279802013-01-07T23:24:00.001-06:002013-01-07T23:26:05.879-06:00
SWIMMING
When you have Aspergers and ADD, team sports just don't work out. Private swimming lessons have been a Godsend to us. It was the only way Eva would advance, since there was no distractions AND she had one on one attention. She has done so well, she is on the Swim Team this year! And because it's worked so well, we have also signed the triplets up for Private Swim Lessons at the Y. PATIENCE
It took me all Christmas Season, but I FINALLY got this picture of our new kitten, Buttercup, staring at the ornaments!! And of course it was on the last day of the Christmas Holiday, Epiphany! This was Buttercup's First Christmas and she was a good kitty - she did not climb the tree, but she did play with some of the ornaments on the bottom of the tree and kept sliding my tree MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-11478707152312436222013-01-05T21:00:00.000-06:002013-01-06T00:55:39.545-06:00
WAR
If you don't believe me, take a look at Eddie's face! Joey's throwing the cards, Ella's tattling on Joey and telling him he's not suppose to do that. Joey is not listening and doing what he wants to do. And Eddie's getting mad at Joey for throwing the cards and at Ella for tattling! Then I came in, to see what all the fuss was about and saw the OTHER mess they had made and let's just MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-32344523271187156472013-01-04T18:26:00.000-06:002013-01-04T19:50:17.399-06:00

SADNESS
Winter Break is over and my kids went back to school this morning. The triplets were so excited to see their friends, I only got one of them in the picture, barely! And now I sit in a quiet house with nothing but housework (yuck!) to keep me occupied. Gone are the days of cuddling on the couch, watching tv or reading books. No more playing in the backyard, on the swings or in MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-5684272174050609402013-01-02T23:28:00.000-06:002013-01-02T23:30:03.949-06:00
SILENCE
Silence is golden. Unless you have children. Then you start to wonder what's going on. What mayhem is brewing. Thus is where my thoughts went this morning while I'm on the computer. The Christmas Tree was blocking my view of the couch, so I didn't see the triplets there. I'm just cruising through the list of free books on Amazon today when I realized, there wasn't a sound! In a house MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-27510019790613702082013-01-01T21:41:00.000-06:002013-01-01T21:52:05.498-06:00
ANTICIPATION
Yup, that's what it's all about when you're 6. Here's dad (+Gerald Grogan), putting together Joey's Rocket Ship he got for Christmas (complete with astronauts AND aliens!) and the boys just couldn't wait for it to be finished.
And here are all 4 kids, trying to play with Ella's Polly Pocket Hotel (snagged that baby on an Amazon one day sale for $15 and free 2 day MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-7665113416624481442011-03-27T22:34:00.003-05:002011-03-27T22:39:01.524-05:00R.I.P. She LOVES to sit on your lap or, even better, in your bed. She's always with us, like a little dog (we call her our "kittydog"). And she's the best teacher. The alarm didn't go off, so I had to skip my morning shower in order to get Eva up and ready for school. As Eva and I were leaving for school, Joey comes down the stairs! It's only 7:30, and he really shouldn't be up yet! When I come back home, Eddie is now up (Joey woke him up when he went back into their room, grrr), so now I have to make breakfast. But first, IMamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-63306181565260724382011-01-28T10:49:00.002-06:002011-01-28T10:56:59.103-06:00What's for breakfast?"So guys, what do you want for breakfast?""Bacon" says Joey"Ok, I have some in the freezer. They had a priest from another church helping out and their first time was face to face at in front of the altar. She even got a certificate for it. Then she had swimming lessons. Got up a little late this morning, so in order to get out of the house in time to get to church on time, I gave Eddie and Ella a banana, Eva an apple that I cut up and put fruit fresh on (so it doesn't get brown) and Joey a protein bar. While at church, the kids acted like their usual, squirrels hopped up on caffeine, lol. Came home and made grilled cheese and MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-64923098769475139542011-01-08T23:50:00.003-06:002011-01-09T00:08:23.868-06:00Saturday, Jan 8th, 2011We had swimming first thing in the morning and Joey had a GREAT day! When Miss Jen put the thereapy belt around his middle, he was able to swim, using his arms AND legs AND could pick his head up out of the water!!!! I was so proud of him, I started to cry. For any other little boy, that's nothing, but for a little boy with CP (cerebral palsey), that's AWESOME!! Today is Friday!! and it's pretty cold outside, so when the kids came home from school, I popped a big bowl of popcorn, covered us up with some quilts or afghans, and watched some movies. Dinner was in the slow cooker, so I could enjoy the time with them! We watched Lady and the Tramp (LOVE that one!) and Veggie Tales The Story of Jonah. We ate dinner, then the kids played tea party - Eva MamaJuniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447568011321680326.post-55348922741108421782011-01-06T22:42:00.000-06:002011-01-07T11:37:44.180-06:00Why?Jan 6th, 2011 - Had to take Joey to Children's Hospital today, first in a series of visits with several doctors in order to find out why he's not growing like your "average" child.
