Feeding Team Appt

So I took Joey up to Children's today and left the rest of the kids at the babysitters. The Cliff Note version of the appt is that he's burning up more calories than normal because he's tummy breathing (like a newborn) instead of chest breathing and he's holding his arms stiff to try and keep himself in an upright position. Both of these should go away as he gets stronger from the Physical Therapy he's getting, but if after 2 or 3 months of therapy, if he is still tummy breathing, then we have to take him to a Pulmologist (lung dr) to find out why and what we can do about it. They also gave me some new tricks to try to get Joey to eat off of a spoon without fussing. So we'll see how THAT goes!
